Welcome Liggett Ladies Class of 1964 to the premier BLOG for our class. One of the inspirations for the blog is our upcoming 45th Class Reunion coming up in May, 2009!!! Yes, it will be our 45th! For those of you who attended our 40th you know how much fun we had catching up on all of our comings and goings, our families, our work, etc. As seems to be the case, sleep was not the most important thing for the weekend. It is a proud tradition started (or at least remembered) back to our 25th Reunion which Betty Irwin hosted at her home @ 2130 Iroquois. I think for the whole weekend I had a combined 6 - 8 hours of sleep. "You snooze, you lose" my thinking then. For the 40th a bit more rest was required and taken.
In order to plan ahead I want to tell you that the dates for the Reunion Weekend have returned back to the first weekend in May. Alumni Reunion Weekend – May 1-2, 2009. So, start making your plans.
I will try to disseminate this blog to all the emails of the classmates for whom I have emails. If you know of someone whose email I do not have or have an incorrect email for - please let me know.
So, in closing, mark your calendars and block out the first weekend in May, chat amongst yourselves, start thinking about airline reservations, etc. Housing arrangements will be discussed as we get closer to the dates.
